About

iDRAC Server Monitor monitors and controls Dell PowerEdge servers through their iDRAC, from iDRAC 6 to iDRAC 9. It adds the server power state with a switch and buttons for power on and graceful shutdown, plus buttons for forced power off and forced restart. It also reports power usage in watts and cumulative energy in kilowatt-hours, which can feed the Energy dashboard, along with temperatures and fan speeds. Hardware health and per power supply health appear as problem sensors, for example to trigger a shutdown when a power supply loses input. Everything runs locally over the iDRAC's own HTTPS APIs with no extra Python dependency, and the integration is added in the UI with the iDRAC address, credentials and a polling interval. On iDRAC 6 it keeps a single web session open, since that model accepts only a few at once.
