About
Kodi Recently Added Media is an integration that feeds recently added TV shows and movies from Kodi to the Upcoming Media Card. It adds sensors to Home Assistant, one for recently added TV shows and one for recently added movies. It builds on an existing Kodi integration, so Kodi must already be set up in the UI, and the new integration is added there by choosing a Kodi instance. An option lets the sensors leave out media that is marked as watched, and by default watched media is included. It works locally, and genres, ratings and studios are only filled in for movies because of the data Kodi stores for TV shows.
