About

Whirlpool Appliances is a built-in integration that connects Whirlpool and Maytag appliances to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It provides binary sensors, buttons, climate entities, lights, numbers, selects and sensors for the appliances in an account. Ovens, including models with separate upper and lower cavities, get their own light, stop button, target temperature, cook mode and current temperature readings. Sensors also report appliance state and end time. Setup happens in the UI with the account username or email, password, brand and the region where the appliances were purchased. The oven cook mode and target temperature sensors are deprecated, and a repair notice flags them in Settings.
