About

Transmission is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Transmission torrent client over its RPC interface. It communicates locally and is set up in the UI, with fields for host, port, path, optional credentials and an HTTPS choice. It adds sensors for torrent counts by state, download and upload speeds, session and total ratios, and available disk space. Two switches are provided, one of them for turtle mode, and an event entity reports torrent activity. Actions can add a torrent from a URL, magnet link or Base64 data, list current torrents, and start, stop or remove a torrent. Options set how many torrents appear in the torrent info attributes and in what order they are listed.
