About

Tailscale is a built-in integration that reports the status of devices on a Tailscale network. It adds binary sensors for each device, covering whether it is a client, whether it is connected to the control server, and whether key expiry is disabled. Other binary sensors show support for IPv6, PCP, NAT-PMP, UDP and UPnP. Sensors provide the key expiry time, the IP address and the time the device was last seen. It relies on the Tailscale cloud service, so an internet connection is needed. Setup happens in the UI and asks for an API key and the name of the tailnet. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
