About
Bose SoundTouch is a built-in integration that controls Bose SoundTouch speakers as media players. It communicates with the devices locally, without a cloud connection. Home Assistant can discover a device on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI by entering the device's hostname or IP address. Beyond basic media player control, it provides actions for multi-room use, including creating a zone, adding or removing followers in a zone, and playing on all SoundTouch devices at once.
