About

Solar-Log is a built-in integration that reads data from a Solar-Log device over the local network. It adds sensors for values such as consumption over several periods, charge level, charging and discharging power, and efficiency. Setup happens in the UI, asking for the hostname or IP address of the device. A password for the general user account is only needed if the open JSON API is deactivated or if additional data is wanted. New devices show up without setting the integration up again, and devices that are gone are removed by themselves. Connection settings can be changed later without removing it, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
