About
Sense is a built-in integration that connects a Sense Energy Monitor to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It adds sensors and binary sensors, including energy readings for the billing period, day, week, month and year. Setup happens in the UI, where the account email, password and a timeout are entered. If multi-factor authentication is enabled on the Sense account, a verification code is also requested. Home Assistant can spot the monitor on the network and offer to add it. Because it ships with Home Assistant, nothing extra needs to be installed.
