About

ROMY Vacuum Cleaner is a built-in integration that connects a ROMY robot vacuum to Home Assistant over the local network. It adds a vacuum entity for controlling the robot, along with sensors for dustbin dirt level, total cleaned area, total cleaning time, total distance driven and total cleaning runs. Binary sensors report whether the robot is docked, whether the dustbin is present, and whether the water tank is present or empty. Home Assistant can find the robot on the network and offer to add it. Setup is done in the UI with the host address and the device password, which is printed as a QR code under the dustbin.
