About
Rainforest Eagle is a built-in integration that reads energy data from a Rainforest gateway over the local network. It adds sensors for energy price, power demand, total energy delivered and total energy received. Setup happens in the user interface, where the cloud ID, the gateway host name or IP address and the installation code are entered. Home Assistant can also detect the gateway on the network and offer to add it. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
