About
OctoPrint is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to an OctoPrint server over the local network. It adds binary sensors, buttons, cameras, numbers and sensors for the connected printer. The number entities cover bed temperature and extruder temperature, while the sensors report the current file and the current state. An action tells the OctoPrint server to connect to a printer. Home Assistant can discover the server on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI with host, port, username, application path and SSL options.
