About
NRGkick is a built-in Home Assistant integration that connects to an NRGkick device over the local network. It adds sensors for cellular mode, operator and signal strength, charge count, charged energy, charging rate and voltage, and connector temperatures. Number entities cover charging current, energy limit and phase count, and a switch turns charging on or off. A binary sensor shows whether charging is permitted, and a GPS tracker is exposed as a presence entity. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network and offer to add it, and setup runs in the UI with the host and optional login details. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the entry, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
