NextDNS for Home Assistant (built-in integration)

About

NextDNS is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a NextDNS account through the vendor's cloud. It is set up in the UI by choosing a configuration profile and entering the account's API key. Sensors report DNS query statistics, including blocked queries and ratios, plus counts for encrypted queries and for the DNS-over-HTTPS, DNS-over-TLS, DNS-over-QUIC and DNS-over-HTTP/3 protocols. Switches toggle profile settings such as threat detection, blocking of bypass methods and blocking of individual services like ChatGPT or Amazon. Binary sensors show device connection status, and a button clears the logs. It also supports changing connection settings later, downloading diagnostics, and adding its status to system information.
