About
Glances is a built-in integration that reads system monitoring data from a Glances instance on the local network. It adds sensors to Home Assistant for CPU usage, disk size, free space, usage, reads and writes, fan speed, and battery charge. Container sensors are also included, covering active containers, container CPU usage, and container memory used. Setup happens in the UI, where the host, port, username, password, and SSL options are entered, including whether the certificate is verified. Nothing extra needs to be installed, since it ships with Home Assistant.
