About

devolo Home Network is a built-in integration that connects devolo powerline and Wi-Fi devices to Home Assistant over the local network. It adds a binary sensor for the router connection, plus sensors for connected powerline devices, connected Wi-Fi clients, neighboring Wi-Fi networks, and the powerline uplink and downlink rates. Switches turn the guest Wi-Fi and the device LEDs on or off, and an image entity shows the guest Wi-Fi credentials as a QR code. Buttons can make the LED blink to identify a device, start powerline pairing, start WPS, or restart the device. Home Assistant can discover these devices on the network and offer to add them, and new devices appear without setting the integration up again. Setup is done in the interface and asks for the device password, and for the IP address if the device was not discovered.
