About
Chef iQ is a built-in integration that reads temperatures from Chef iQ cooking probes. It adds temperature sensors for ambient, food, four probe tip positions and the probe's SoC. The integration works locally, so readings do not depend on a cloud connection. Home Assistant can detect a probe on its own and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI by choosing the probe. Nothing extra needs to be installed, since it ships with Home Assistant.
