About

BSB-LAN is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a BSB-LAN device over the local network. It provides climate, water heater and sensor entities, including current temperature, outside temperature and total energy, plus a button to sync time. Two actions are available: one sets the hot water heating schedule, and another synchronizes Home Assistant time to the device, updating only when the times differ. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI with host, port and optional username, password and passkey. Connection settings can be changed later without removing the entry, and a repair notice can appear when the firmware needs updating.
