About

Z-Wave JS UI is a Home Assistant app that runs a configurable Z-Wave JS gateway with its own control panel. The control panel opens in the Home Assistant sidebar and lets every aspect of the Z-Wave network be configured. The gateway talks to Home Assistant through the Z-Wave JS integration over WebSockets and can use MQTT at the same time. Because it runs separately, the Z-Wave network keeps running while Home Assistant restarts, and tools such as Node-RED can use the network alongside Home Assistant. It pre-configures itself with the Mosquitto app when one is found, and it needs access to a USB or serial Z-Wave controller. It requires Home Assistant OS and runs on aarch64 and amd64 systems.
