About

PyCupra is a Marketplace integration that connects Home Assistant to Cupra and Seat cars through the vendor's cloud. It fetches data from the My Cupra and My Seat servers, not from the car directly, and the car sends updates to those servers on events such as locking, charging, climatisation and parking. It provides binary sensors, buttons, climate, presence, locks, numbers, sensors and switches, plus actions to set the charge limit, the maximum charge current and a departure schedule. Options cover poll frequency, push notifications, a nightly reduction of polling, unit conversions, the resources to monitor, and a read-only mode that blocks actions on the car. Setup runs in the UI and asks for brand, email, password and vehicle details. The README warns that after API changes on June 8th 2026 most endpoints are blocked, and it recommends disabling the integration.
