About
Zidoo is a custom integration and API wrapper for controlling Zidoo media players from Home Assistant. It communicates with the player locally and is set up in the UI by entering the player's IP address and a password. It adds media player, remote and select entities for each device. Options cover a shortcut list, the password and a power off standby setting. Devices also provide triggers for when they are requested to turn on or off, so automations can start from those events. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to bug reports.
