About
Toshiba AC (Community) connects Toshiba air conditioners to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It adds climate control along with sensors for indoor and outdoor temperature and a binary sensor for self cleaning. Switches cover 8 °C mode, air purifier, ECO mode, high power mode and the wireless LED, and selects cover outdoor unit silent mode and fireplace mode. It is a maintained fork of an earlier integration and uses its own fork of the protocol library. Changes made for Home Assistant include a fresh token at each startup, retries when the cloud rate-limits at boot, and a reload when the cloud connection drops and does not recover. Setup is done in the UI with a username and password, and a diagnostics download is available for bug reports.
