About

Nilan is a local Home Assistant integration for Nilan ventilation and heat pump units that use the CTS602 controller. It adds climate control, water heaters, sensors, binary sensors, switches, numbers, selects and a button that synchronizes the time and date. The sensors cover temperatures such as fresh air intake, supply air, return air, waste air and water, and the binary sensors report items such as the compressor, defrost and bypass flap. Numbers and selects expose settings like supply air temperature limits, ventilation levels, the Legionella day and the interface language. The unit connects through a Modbus RTU to TCP bridge or a USB to RS485 adaptor, and setup in the UI asks for either a network address and port or a serial path, plus a unit ID. It installs through the Marketplace or manually.
