About
Genius Lyrics is an integration that fetches song lyrics from Genius.com for tracks playing on media players. It creates a lyrics sensor for each monitored media player, and it can watch all media player entities or notify when new ones appear. A search lyrics action can be called from automations, and it either returns the result or updates the sensor attributes when an entity is given. It also ships a Lovelace card with a visual editor, album art and artist display, font size controls and empty states, which registers itself automatically. The integration depends on the vendor's cloud and is set up in the UI.
