About
Stiebel Eltron HTTP reads data from a local Stiebel Eltron ISG webserver and exposes it as Home Assistant sensors. It collects values from the connected heat pump, including room, outside, flow and domestic hot water temperatures, room humidity, and heating produced. It also reports energy consumption, including a separate figure for domestic hot water, which can be added to the Energy dashboard, along with compressor starts and on/off states for the compressor, heaters and defrost. It communicates locally and does not need Modbus on the ISG. The integration is read-only, so it cannot change temperatures or modes. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network and offer to add it, and setup asks only for the host name or IP address of the ISG.
