About

Saver is a Home Assistant integration that saves the current state of any entity so it can be restored later. It adds actions to save the state and parameters of one or several entities and to restore them afterwards, with options to keep the saved data after a restore and to set a transition time for lights. Simple variables can also be stored, set from a manual value, an entity state or the current timestamp, and removed singly, by regex or all at once. Saved values can be read in templates, including time comparisons and elapsed seconds since a stored datetime. It also provides automation conditions for elapsed time, value comparison and time comparison, plus events fired after its actions complete. It works locally, is set up in the UI, and needs the Marketplace (HACS on 2026.10 and older).
