About

Simple Timer is an integration that turns entities on and off with a countdown timer and tracks daily runtime. It works with switches, input booleans, lights, fans and climate entities, and for climate devices a mode to use when turning on can be chosen. A default duration can start a countdown automatically when the device is switched on manually, and the timer cancels if the device is turned off elsewhere. Daily usage is tracked and resets at a time of day that can be set, midnight by default, with an option to show seconds. Optional notifications cover timer start, finish and cancellation, and timers can be extended or scheduled for a chosen time. It runs locally and is configured in the UI.
