About

MeasureIt is a Home Assistant integration that measures things based on time windows and template conditions. It offers three meter types: a time meter that runs while a template condition holds, a source meter that tracks changes in another entity, and a counter meter that counts how often a template turns true. Measuring can be limited to chosen days and hours, and a window that crosses midnight is supported. Results appear as sensors that reset on configurable periods such as day or year, or that never reset automatically. Actions exist to calibrate a sensor to a given value and to reset a sensor, either at a set time or immediately. It works locally and is set up in the UI, though most use cases need some template knowledge.
