About

BedJet is a local integration for controlling BedJet V2 and BedJet 3 bed climate devices from Home Assistant. It adds climate and fan control, along with buttons for syncing the clock, adjusting head and foot positions, and preset modes such as Flat, Snore, Zero G and TV. Sensors report ambient temperature, run end time, shutdown reason, update phase, and head and foot angle, while a number entity shows runtime remaining. Switches turn the LED on or off and mute the beeps. Devices are found on the network and offered for adding, and setup is done in the UI. The device allows only one Bluetooth connection at a time, so the BedJet mobile app must be closed for Home Assistant to connect, while the RF remote is unaffected.

From the README

This project provides various entities to allow control of a BedJet V2 or BedJet 3 device.

BedJet devices only allow one active Bluetooth connection at a time. If the BedJet mobile app is open (or running in the background) and connected to the device, Home Assistant will not be able to connect to it. The BedJet remote is not affected by this limitation, as it uses RF rather than Bluetooth.
