About

Kef Connector is a Home Assistant integration for KEF speakers that works locally. It adds the speakers as media players, so they can be handled alongside other media devices in Home Assistant. The README lists compatibility with the LSX2LT, LSX2, LS50W2, LS60 and XIO Soundbar models. Setup is done by adding an entry with the speaker's IP address to the configuration file, and platform options can be set there as well. It is installed through the Marketplace, or through HACS on version 2026.10 and older.
