About

WiiM is a Marketplace integration that turns WiiM and LinkPlay speakers into Home Assistant media players with multiroom support. It communicates with the speakers locally and is set up in the UI, and Home Assistant can discover devices on the network and offer to add them. Besides media control, it provides entities such as sensors, selects, numbers, switches, lights, buttons and update entities. Multiroom uses Home Assistant's native grouping, and the source text lists equalizer and subwoofer control, sleep timer and alarm management, and scene restoration. State updates combine UPnP events with HTTP polling as a fallback, and options set the polling rate while playing and while idle, plus the volume step size. Optional maintenance buttons and diagnostic sensors can be shown, and a diagnostics download and system health status are included.
