About

Azure OpenAI Conversation is a custom integration that runs Home Assistant conversation features on models deployed in Azure OpenAI. It adds conversation agents, AI tasks, speech-to-text and text-to-speech, and it is based on the built-in OpenAI Conversation integration with the same capabilities. Image generation is also available through AI tasks when an image model is deployed. Models are selected separately for each service, and nothing is preselected. Connection works either with an API key and endpoint or through a Microsoft Entra ID sign-in that discovers deployed models. It needs the Azure cloud service, and it is added through the Marketplace and set up in the UI.
