About
Model Context Protocol is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Model Context Protocol server. It is set up in the user interface by entering the URL of the server. A step during setup asks which authentication method to use, and application credentials can be chosen for signing in. Another option connects through the vendor's own sign-in page. The integration works locally and needs nothing beyond Home Assistant itself.
