About
Chime TTS is a custom integration that joins chimes and text-to-speech into a single audio file. The audio is generated locally and played in one action call, which avoids the gap that separate playback actions can cause. Audio can be placed before, after, or between speech segments, and several TTS platforms can be mixed in one announcement. It adds actions to say a message, return a file URL without playing it, replay the last request, and clear the cache, plus a notifier platform with reusable notification profiles. Options cover default TTS platform, language, voice, offsets, crossfades, and a fallback TTS platform whose use can be reported as a log entry, notification, or repair issue. A sidebar panel manages defaults, chimes, Chime Sets, and logs, and setup is done in the UI.
