About

Unfolded Circle is an integration that connects Home Assistant to Unfolded Circle Remote Two and Remote 3 remotes and their docks. It communicates locally and is found automatically on the network, then added through a guided setup in the UI that asks for the remote's PIN. It adds entities for activities, activity groups and media players, which can be created globally, per group or per activity, plus a light for the button backlight and a switch for wireless charging on Remote 3. Docks appear as sub-entries with infrared sending, LED brightness, reboot, identity flash and firmware update entities. Services send mapped button commands with repeats, delays and holds, and send or learn infrared codes. Options also let selected Home Assistant entities be shared back to the remote, and the remote's firmware can be updated from Home Assistant.
