About

Lambda Heat Pumps connects Home Assistant to Lambda heat pumps locally over Modbus/TCP. It detects the available modules, such as heat pumps, boilers, buffers, solar modules and heating circuits, and creates matching entities. It provides climate entities for heating, cooling and hot water, number entities for heating curve points and offsets, and a large set of sensors. Sensors include cycling counters and energy consumption by operating mode, with daily, monthly and yearly figures. Options cover temperature ranges, room thermostat control with external sensors, PV surplus control, optional cooling setpoints and the update interval. It is set up in the UI, and Home Assistant can discover it on the network.
