About

PadSpan HA is a Marketplace integration that tracks which room each Bluetooth device is in. It adds binary sensors, presence and sensor entities, and refreshes room positions every 5 seconds. Floor plans can be uploaded, with room boundaries drawn over them, and shown as 2D maps or 3D multi-floor views. A walk-around calibration system collects fingerprints from a phone-friendly panel, and follow mode shows a movement timeline for a tracked device with optional email alerts. It reads existing scanners such as Bluetooth proxies and Bermuda proxies, and ESPresense nodes connect over MQTT. Everything runs locally and setup is done in the UI, with an update interval setting.
