About

Ambeo Soundbar is an integration that controls Sennheiser AMBEO soundbars locally from Home Assistant. It talks to the device over the local network with no cloud dependency, and the soundbar appears as a media player. Alongside it come entities for audio, display and connectivity settings, spread across switches, selects, numbers, lights, buttons, sensors and binary sensors. Controls include night mode, voice enhancement, subwoofer volume, the AMBEO mode level, LED brightness, restart and resetting expert settings. The Max, Plus and Mini models are listed as supported. Setup happens in the UI with the soundbar's hostname or IP address, and options cover the polling interval and a cap on simultaneous requests to the device.
