About

Plum ecoMAX is an integration for ecoMAX boiler controllers made by Plum, connected locally to Home Assistant. It reads the controller over RS-485, through a USB adapter or a network converter, using the PyPlumIO library. It adds binary sensors, sensors, numbers, selects, switches, a thermostat climate entity and a water heater entity for an indirect water heater. Mixers and circuits appear as sub-devices with their own temperatures, pump state and limits, and available entities depend on the controller model and connected modules. Actions can get or set device parameters and schedules, and calibrate or reset a meter. An alert event is fired when the controller reports an alert, and diagnostics and system health are included. Setup is done in the UI by choosing a serial or network connection.
