About

Technische Alternative CoE reads digital and analog data from a C.M.I. over the CanOverEthernet interface. It runs locally and creates sensors and binary sensors from the channels of the configured CAN-IDs. Values are polled every minute by default, and the update interval can be changed in the options. Values from Home Assistant entities such as sensors, numbers, input numbers and input booleans can also be sent to the C.M.I., on change and every 10 minutes. It relies on the Coe to HTTP add-on, which is detected automatically, or an external server whose address is given during setup. A repair notice can point out a missing CAN-ID, and new channels appear after a reload.
