About
Matter Saver is a Marketplace integration that monitors the status of Matter and Thread devices through a local Matter Server connection. It adds sensors and bundles four dashboard cards: a sortable device table, an activity log, a mesh network view and a topology tree. Thread diagnostics cover each device's role, neighbors, children and error counters, and a route view shows the mesh path to Home Assistant with signal values per hop. Per-device actions include ping, re-interview and resetting error counters, and the log and offline history record status changes and how long devices were offline. Error counters are read from the devices every few minutes for online, mains-powered Thread nodes, while battery-powered devices are not polled. Setup happens in the UI and asks for the Matter Server WebSocket URL.
