About

Bestway is a custom integration that controls Bestway and Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs through the vendor's cloud API. It also covers Flowclear pool filters, and it needs a Wi-Fi enabled model with no extra hardware. It adds binary sensors, climate controls, numbers, selects, sensors and switches to Home Assistant. Two device generations are supported, an older one up to around 2024 and a newer one from 2025 onwards, and the matching type is chosen during setup. Login differs by generation, using account credentials with a region for some models and a QR code or visitor ID for others. An options page lets bubble control be matched to the hardware, since some Airjet V02 tubs only have on and off bubbles. It is added as a custom repository and set up in the UI.
