About

Yoto is a Home Assistant integration that connects Yoto players through the vendor's cloud. It adds media control for play and pause, plus playing a card, chapter or track through a service call, and a stop action. Settings for day and night modes are exposed, including start times, maximum volume, display brightness with automatic options, and ambient light colour, which can be any colour. Binary sensors report whether the player is online, charging, in day mode, connected to headphones or Bluetooth audio, and whether the night light and sleep timer are active. Sensors cover battery temperature and last update, and an update action refreshes player data from the service cache. Only the entities a given device supports appear, and setup is done in the UI.
