About

Teufel Raumfeld connects Teufel smart speakers (the Raumfeld multiroom system) to Home Assistant for local control. It provides media player, sensor, select and number entities, covering playback controls, source selection, and volume per room or across a group. Rooms can be combined into speaker groups or removed from them through actions, and the volume of several rooms in a group can be set to the same level. Snapshots of a media player can be saved and restored, and system sounds can be played over current media for announcements. Options cover a custom announcement volume, the volume step sizes, and a default volume when a speaker group is created. Setup happens in the UI with the host and port, and rooms and groups are discovered automatically.
