About

Polar is a Marketplace integration that brings data from the Polar cloud service into Home Assistant as sensors. The sensors cover breathing rate, cardio load, daily activity calories, duration and steps, deep sleep, heart rate variability, and details of the last exercise such as average and maximum heart rate. It also imports up to 28 days of past data as long-term statistics, so sleep and heart rate history can be shown in the Statistics graph card. A sample dashboard built from standard cards is included, and a Last sync sensor can drive an automation when the watch has not synced for a while. The update interval can be changed in the options, and a repair prompts re-authentication if Polar rejects the access token. It is set up in the UI with a Polar AccessLink client and a sign-in through the vendor's page.
