About

Eight Sleep is a custom integration that connects Home Assistant to Eight Sleep beds through the vendor's cloud API with OAuth2. It imports the account and each bed side as devices and provides binary sensors, buttons, climate, media, numbers, selects, sensors and switches. Actions cover setting or adjusting the heating and cooling level, turning a side on or off, and starting or stopping away mode. Alarms can be snoozed, stopped or dismissed, and a one-off alarm can be created with custom vibration and thermal settings. The pod can also be primed, and the bed side for a user can be set to both, left or right. Alarm switches are created for each configured alarm, and sensor values refresh every 5 minutes. It is added as a custom repository in the Marketplace and configured in the UI with Eight Sleep account credentials.
