About
Yale Smart Living is a built-in integration that connects Yale alarms and smart locks to Home Assistant. It talks to the vendor's cloud, so an internet connection is required. It adds alarm panels, locks, sensors, buttons, selects and switches, plus binary sensors for battery, jam, power loss and tamper states. A panic button, a volume selector and an autolock switch are also available. An option sets how many digits the PIN code for locks has. Setup is done in the UI with a username, password and area ID, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
