About
Yale Home is a built-in integration that connects Yale smart locks and related devices to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It provides locks, cameras, buttons, events, sensors and binary sensors. Binary sensors report doorbell dings and image capture, a button wakes a device, and a sensor shows the operator. Home Assistant can discover the device on the network and offer to add it. Authentication goes through the vendor's own sign-in page, using application credentials, and setup is done in the UI. A diagnostics file can be downloaded to attach to a bug report.
