VIZIO SmartCast for Home Assistant (built-in integration)

About

VIZIO SmartCast is a built-in integration that controls VIZIO SmartCast devices over the local network. It adds media, remote, sensor and binary sensor entities to Home Assistant. Home Assistant can find a device on the network by itself and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI with a pairing code shown on the device screen. Options let the source list include or exclude chosen apps and set how many volume levels each volume up or down command changes. One action types text into the focused on-screen field, such as a search box or PIN entry, using ASCII characters only. Another action updates a setting on the media player device.

Connect

Access tokenThe access token used to authenticate with your TV. Leave empty to start a pairing process that will provide one.
HostHostname or IP address of your VIZIO SmartCast device. Optionally include the port as host:port; otherwise the standard SmartCast ports are tried.
