About
Squeezebox (Lyrion Music Server) is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Lyrion Music Server and its players. It talks to the server locally and can be found automatically on the network, after which it is set up in the interface. It provides media players along with sensors for alarms, library totals, the last scan and player counts. Buttons adjust bass, treble and display brightness, and a switch turns alarms on or off. Update entities cover the server and its plugins, and a binary sensor shows when a restart or library rescan is needed. Two actions send custom JSONRPC calls to the server, one of which stores its result on the player entity. Options set the browse limit and the volume step, and new devices appear without repeating setup.
