About
Snooz is a built-in integration that controls Snooz devices from Home Assistant over a local connection. It adds a fan entity for each device, which is how the device is switched on and off and its volume managed. Two actions set it apart: one transitions the volume to the lowest setting over a chosen duration and then powers the device off. The other transitions the volume over a chosen duration, and if the device is off, it starts from the lowest volume level. Home Assistant can find the device on the network by itself and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI by choosing the device and giving it a name.
